By now, we all know the terrible news about Matt Harvey’s partially torn UCL, which might require surgery. If Harvey would need to undergo Tommy John surgery, he would miss mot (if not all) of the 2014 campaign. The news was heartbreaking to all of us. It was the first time in a while that I didn’t have words to describe my feelings about what I was reading, hearing, seeing. Never before has it been so hard to try to put something like this into perspective, and it still isn’t. But last night during the Mets game, there was a moment that put it all together for me and really gave this sad story a promising future. For those who have not seen this yet, be prepared to be a bit depressed for a moment.
