On the mound the Staff gave up 4 runs on 8 hits with the starter Duke 5-3 4.84 going 7 innings allowing 4 runs on 6 hits with 2 walks and 4 Ks. He was followed by Meek who closed the game going 2 innings with 2 hits and 2 Ks. A good outing by the staff.
The Pirates next play tomorrow at 7:05 pm ET against the Washington Nationals. The starters will be Ohlendorf 4-3 3.77 vs. DetWiler 0-0 0.00. Ohlendorf has never thrown against the Nats.
