Why?
Because the Boston Red Sox aren't playing today.
Wow? Actually happy there's an off-day? What is going on here?
For the first time in a long time, Boston has lost five games straight.
How bad is it?
The New York Yankees just stole first place in the American League East, and are now two games up.
How did this happen?
Boston's offense decided to take an extended vacation after Clay Buchholz's start in Toronto last Friday. As a team, they are batting .192 and have scored nine runs in five games. One and two runs twice, highest was three.
Did someone spike their Powerade?
Who knows, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" at this point.
