The Majors Detroit:
Tigers ace and the best pitcher on the planet Justin Verlander reportedly was vacationing with bikini supermodel Kate Upton in St. Thomas over the New Year.
The two were spotted ringing in the new year at the Ritz-Carlton resort as speculation continues to grow (or perhaps confirmation at this point) that the two are indeed an item. One witness of the two’s getaway told the New York Post that “He (Verlander) keeps a conservative distance, but still you can tell they are dating.”
Reports of Verlander and Upton dating surfaced last summer when the two were spotted at several Detroit area hotspots including an Aerosmith concert. They were also reportedly seen shopping together in Chicago during a Tigers’ road trip to the Windy City.
And with a Kate Upton post comes an excuse to post a Kate Upton gallery as Tigers fans continue to dwell on the idea that Upton is distracting the star pitcher from more important offseason baseball matters.

In ’13, once the offseason arbitration dust settles on several players, Owner Mike Ilitch will pony up somewhere in the neighborhood of $160M for this year’s version of the Tigers.

Upton and Verlander have been seen going on walks around the grounds and by the pool. But one spy said they were...

The Detroit Tigers have shut down Brayan Villarreal after giving him permission this winter to pitch in Venezuela. Villarreal is a native of Venezuela, and he wanted to pitch in his home country during the winter in an effort to stay sharp for the 2013 season. However, Villarreall experienced elbow soreness this winter, and the Tigers do not want to take any risks.
Detroit Tigers center fielder Torii Hunter will likely have to wait a little longer to see his son play for Notre Dame.
Torii Hunter Jr. , a wide receiver who committed to Notre Dame in September, broke his left femur while running a route on the second day of practice for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
Hunter Jr. underwent surgery on Wednesday and is expected...

The words are just too powerful to let go. Not saying anything gives approval

Yes, I’m talking about Torii Hunter—just not in the way you
