Tigers ace and the best pitcher on the planet Justin Verlander reportedly was vacationing with bikini supermodel Kate Upton in St. Thomas over the New Year. The two were spotted ringing in the new year at the Ritz-Carlton resort as speculation continues to grow (or perhaps confirmation at this point) that the two are indeed an item. One witness of the two’s getaway told the New York Post that “He (Verlander) keeps a conservative distance, but still you can tell they are dating.” Reports of Verlander and Upton dating surfaced last summer when the two were spotted at several Detroit area hotspots including an Aerosmith concert. They were also reportedly seen shopping together in Chicago during a Tigers’ road trip to the Windy City. And with a Kate Upton post comes an excuse to post a Kate Upton gallery as Tigers fans continue to dwell on the idea that Upton is distracting the star pitcher from more important offseason baseball matters. h/t: New York Post
