The Red Sox announced that they have re-acquired catcher Kevin Cash from the Astros in exchange for infielder Angel Sanchez.

This one has been talked about for a few days now, so it's not exactly a shocker.  Not that any trade for Kevin Cash would raise anyone's heartbeat.

The Sox have announced that Cash will not be receiving the Mirabelli private jet and police escort treatment on his way into town. 

However, rumors that the Sox mailed him a Greyhound bus ticket and a $5 Charlie Card with a map to Fenway are yet to be confirmed.
