Former future closer Eddie Kunz is now being converted to a starter, Kunz has struggled since he was talked about as a potential replacement for Billy Wagner in Aug. of 2008. His numbers last year in AAA reduced him to a right handed specialist.In dropping him a level and converting him to a starter the Mets are hoping that in stretching him out he'll be able to improve his secondary pitches and against lefties.
