The Los Angeles Angels didn't want to leave Fenway without at least one win for the trip home, as the AL West leaders beat the Red Sox, 4-3. A wild pitch in the seventh tarnished an otherwise solid start for Josh Beckett, who went eight innings for seven hits and only three earned runs with seven strikeouts. Ervin Santana, on the other hand, went seven strong with only four hits and three earned runs. Two of those well-earned runs came from home runs by Jacoby Ellsbury and Jason Bay. But it was Howie Kendrick's third inning home run and ninth inning bloop single that gave the Angels a win that they could hold on to for the nice long road trip to Texas. Tonight's "No Wild Pitches in October" Award goes to Josh Beckett... please... for the love of God. Next Game: @ BAL - Jeremy Guthrie / Clay Buchholz
