Latos pitches gem!
After a very rough start against the Cleveland Indians 2 weeks ago by Mat Latos, many Reds fans were blasting him and the organizations trade that brought him over from the Padres. 12 days later things have changed. Following a complete game 1 run, 13 strike out performance on Monday, Mat Latos pitched another gem today once again going the complete game allowing only 2 hits and 1 run with 7 strike outs.

The Good
- As mentioned previously, Mat Latos pitched a heck of a game. He threw his 2nd consecutive complete game and 3rd of his career. He looks to be turning things around and also picked up his 7th win of the season.
-Zach Cozart had 2 hits and a walk in 4 at-bats while also scoring a run
- Miguel Cairo came off the bench and had a hit and RBI

After a lackluster 8 innings, the Reds started to come back in the 9th, having the bases loaded with no outs, allowing Miguel Cairo to come to the plate and drive in the tying run. Unfortunately, two strikeouts and a pop-out ended the Reds best chance of winning the game.
