Philadelphia Phillies closer Brad Lidge has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. The team announced the move Thursday. The right-hander had been out with a sprained right knee since June 7, after starting the season 0-3 with a 7.27 ERA and 13 saves in 19 chances. Lidge was 48 for 48 in save chances last year, including the postseason. The Phillies also optioned left-hander Sergio Escalona to Triple-A Leigh Valley.
