• Salt Lake: Third baseman Jeff Baisley homered (5) and doubled and sports a .410/.443/.718 line thus far on the young season. Tyson Auer had a couple knocks, one a triple, his second, pushing his season average up to .304. Meanwhile, Reggie Willits is 0-for Salt Lake. Michael Kohn (.289 BAA) and Kevin Jepsen (.302 BAA) each had scoreless outings, but both need to get their BAA and ERA down before they can be considered for a promotion back to Anaheim. Amalio Diaz (2.08) had his first rough relief appearance of the season, giving up three runs in an inning and 2/3. • Arkansas: Third baseman Luis Jimenez had a single and a double, driving in three runs.
