Lou Merloni demanded answers on yesterday's installment of Mohegan Sun Sports tonight on CSNNE. He demanded what everyone else in Boston has been demanding for 2 weeks, answers to what the hell is going on.

"I want to know what happened," Merloni said. "What happened? What changed? Josh Beckett was expecting a baby in September. Was he just . . . [did his] priorities [change]? 'I'm done. I'm going to stop working.'? . . .

"This isn't the Josh Beckett that I knew of, that a lot of people [knew of]. [This isn't the] Jon Lester [I knew of] . . . "

The Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy said he thinks Curt Schilling may have hit on a reason when he mentioned the loss of pitching coach John Farrell, who took over as manager of the Blue Jays. "They got a little too comfortable," said Shaughnessy.

This isn't really news, just someone else trying to figure this damn thing out. No disprespect Lou, but your demands are not going to get us anywhere. That goes for everyone else outside of that clubhouse, no one knows expect members of the team, and maybe the bat boy.

The arguement of the loss of John Farrell is a valid one and has been circulating since the collapse. Big, burly, John Farrell is not around to shut these guys up and put them in their place, and Curt Young didn't know how to handle these guys. Again, we still don't know what the hell caused all of this, and demands from the media are going to get us no where right now.
