Madison Bumgarner will make his second Cactus League start today as the Giants visit the San Diego Padres at Peoria Sports Complex. Edinson Volquez will take the hill for San Diego. It’s the first meeting of the spring between the two NL West rivals.

First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. (PT).

In his first start on Sunday, Bumgarner limited the Milwaukee Brewers to one hit in 2.2 innings and struck out four (including three of the first four batters he faced).

The game will not be televised or heard on local radio, but MLB.com will carry it.
