The Dodgers announced their full coaching staff for 2013:
Don Mattingly – Manager (3rd Season)
Chuck Crim – Bullpen Coach (1st Season)
Trey Hillman – Bench Coach (3rd Season)
Rick Honeycutt – Pitching Coach (8th Season)
Davey Lopes – First Base Coach (3rd Season)
Mark McGwire – Hitting Coach (1st Season)
Tim Wallach – Third Base Coach (3rd Season)
Ken Howell – Assistant Pitching Coach (1st Season, 6th On Staff)
John Valentin – Assistant Hitting Coach (1st Season)
Manny Mota – Coach (34th Season)
Steve Yeager – Coach (2nd Season)
As Chad noted, the Dodgers recently hired a slew of international scouts. Credit to the new ownership group for their renewed emphasis on building a farm system that includes international players.
Matt Magill and Steven Ames were added to the 40-man roster, bringing the total for the club to 38.

More than a year after sustaining serious injuries in an off-season car accident, former top outfield prospect Alfredo Silverio will be back in spring training with the Dodgers.
Silverio, who was sidelined for all of 2012, was re-signed to a minor league contract that includes an invitation to major league camp.

Andre Ethier, in his age-30 season and coming off a couple of years in which he had to deal with injuries, spent time on the DL again this past season, which limited him to just 146 games. Oblique injury aside, Dre actually had one of his best campaigns as a pro, posting a ~3.1 WAR that included average baserunning (~0.0) and below-average fielding (~-3.0).
The re-tooled, re-build, money-rich Los Angeles Dodgers failed to reach the play-offs in their first season under new ownership. This despite spending money left and right on new players and contract extensions. One extension they have yet to get too, though, is Clayton Kershaw's.
