When he’s not falling peeing in the Green Monster or taking fertility drugs, Manny Ramirez hits baseballs. Some would say he’s one of the greatest players of all time. However even the greats eventually lose their ability to play in the majors, and we as fans all wish to remember them gracefully riding off into the sunset instead of swinging at pitches in the dirt. Manny has…decided to go the other route. Unable to find work with any MLB team, the 40-year old former slugger has decided to sign with the EDA Rhinos, a perennial powerhouse* of the Chinese Professional League in Formosa Taiwan. According to (ESPN Deportes Enrique Rojas) he has “a verbal agreement” to sign(…)but the deal will only become official if Ramirez is unable to land an MLB job before March 7. Ramirez hasn’t played in the majors since 2011, and hasn’t played more than sixty games since 2010. He doesn’t have much – if anything – left in the tank, but he’ll definitely be a hit in China.
