Fox Sports Southwest:
Even without his classic dreadlocks and playing with a triple-A club, Manny Ramirez is still a very recognizable figure in baseball.
Apparently after 20 autograph requests in the early hours of the morning in an airport, his Round Rock Express teammates needed to find a way to get Ramirez through the airport uninterrupted.
Naturally, they went for the pink grandma hat in the gift shop in an attempt to hide his identity.

Did it work? Nobody is sure without a follow up tweet, but at least Ramirezs clothing choice for the start of the Rangers minor league teams road trip was tame by his standards at least, which alone could help conceal him.
One thing is for certain, Manny somehow manages to pull off the grandma look and if Superman can throw on a pair of glasses to become Clark Kent, the hat might be enough to throw fans off Ramirezs trail.
Looks like the first of likely many times the Rangers' organization will get a taste of "Manny being Manny."
Or should we say, "Manny being Granny."

The Texas Rangers were quick to say that Yu Darvish ending up on the disabled list with fatigue of the trapezius muscle in his upper back was nothing to panic about. And if Darvish only misses one start, maybe they're right.
But the same folks who questioned Rangers manager Ron Washington's decision to allow Darvish to reach 130 pitches in a blowout game earlier this season...
Another day and another victim of the injury bug has been bitten for the 2013 Texas Rangers. Yesterday’s victim was Rangers All-Star pitcher Yu Darvish who has suffered a trapezius muscle strain and will require a stint on the 15 day disabled list. With Darvish hitting the DL yesterday, Derek Holland remains the only starting pitcher from the season’s...

In 18 starts this season Darvish is 8-4 with...

The Texas Rangers recently placed starting pitcher Yu Darvish on the disabled list with a strained shoulder. While there was concern
that the injury could keep the right-hander out for an extended stretch, test
results showed nothing out of the ordinary in his injured right trapezius
muscle. The Rangers have said that Darvish is dealing with simple fatigue in
his shoulder and...
Texas starter Justin Grimm has left Friday night's game against the Detroit Tigers with right forearm soreness.
Grimm allowed seven runs in the first two innings but was still in the game in the fourth when Miguel Cabrera singled with one out. The rookie right-hander threw one pitch to Prince Fielder and appeared to grimace, and after a brief conference on the mound, Joseph...
Ross Wolf did his part, limiting the Baltimore Orioles to just three hits over six innings.
Unfortunately for the Texas Rangers, their offense couldn't back up his noteworthy performance in a 3-1 defeat Thursday night.
Texas couldn't have asked for much more from Wolf, who got the start after Yu Darvish was placed on the 15-day disabled list with an upper back strain. Wolf...

sidelined for long with a strained upper back.
