Ichiro, who strained his left calf yesterday in Cleveland, isn't starting today. Brad Lefton just noted to me that it might be the first time in Ichiro's career that he has missed a game with that type of injury -- a muscle strain or pull. Brad could recall him missing games once because he ran into the wall, once after getting hit in the head with a pitch, and, of course, his DL stint at the start of this year for a bleeding ulcer. Franklin Gutierrez will hit leadoff, and Bill Hall gets the start in right. Jack Wilson, meanwhile, returns at shortstop after being out since Aug. 12 with a hamstring injury. Franklin Gutierrez CF Russell Branyan 1B Jose Lopez 2B Ken Griffey Jr. DH Bill Hall RF Kenji Johjima C Jack Hannahan 3B Jack Wilson SS Michael Saunders LF Ian Snell RHP (1-1, 6.63 ERA)
