From the skipper Don Wakamatsu: -Infielder Jack Wilson bruised a heel last night and showed up in the clubhouse on crutches. His status is day-to-day, though Wakamatsu isn't sure how long Wilson will be out. -IF-OF Bill Hall suffered a cramp in his right quadriceps as he ran down the first-base line Tuesday. "I thought he'd be able to play but he feels some soreness and we just feel it's probably better to give him a day [off]. We'll re-evaluate him tomorrow. I do not think it will be as long as the Jack Wilson injury," Wakamatsu said. -P Chris Jakubauskas, who hasn't pitched Sept. 3, threw a light bullpen session today and felt good, Wakamatsu said.
