The Seattle Mariners announced that they have sent outfielder Trayvon Robinson to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange of infielder Robert Andino. Robinson was a highly coveted prospect in the Dodgers organization that ended up in Seattle in a three-team trade that sent Erik Bedard to Boston.
The 25-year old outfielder hit .221/.294/.324 with 3 HR's, 12 RBI's and a .275 wOBA in 164 plate appearances for the Mariners in 2012. Andino, 28, hit .211/.283/.305 with 7 HR's, 28 RBI's and a .265 wOBA in 431 plate appearances for the Orioles in 2012.
