Fightin' Marlins:
According to tweets from ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick, the Marlins and division rival Philadelphia Phillies have talked about a possible deal for closer Leo Nunez who is tied for fourth in the league in saves with 27.
MLBTR explains that Nunez fits the Phillies goal of a player they could control beyond this year. If Nunez goes, setup man Mike Dunn will likely become the new closer.
The Marlins may keep him until August or release him during the offseason.
