FOXSportsSouth.com invites you to meet the Braves as we continue a month-long look at our team, player-by-player. We'll revisit 2011 and project what 2012 might look like.
Drew Sutton
Position: Infield
Height: 6-3; Weight: 200
BatThrow: SR
Hometown: El Dorado, Ariz.
Experience: Fourth season
2011 in review: Sutton played five positions and hit a career-high .315 with seven RBIs in 31 games for the Red Sox last year.
Career highlight: Playing for the Reds, he hit his only grand slam and had a career-high four RBIs against the Astros on May 28, 2010. He was traded from the Astros to the Reds in 2009.
Outlook: Suttons versatility could prove beneficial for the Braves due to backup shortstop Jack Wilsons calf injury and Chipper Jones injury problems. Hes spent most of his career at short and second, but also has played third, first, left and right in the majors.
You should know: He hit a two-run homer off of Washingtons Logan Kensing for his first career home run on Aug. 15, 2009. The Braves are his fifth organization, joining Houston, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Boston.
Friday: Anthony Varvaro

Prado returns to comfort level with Braves
Martin Prado was out of place.

It was a season of disappointment as he struggled to adjust to a new position, a new spot in the batting order and an injury that cost him more than a month of the season.

Minor pitches three scoreless in Braves' 2-1 loss
The Atlanta Braves have started off their exhibition season horribly, and manager Fredi Gonzalez isn't liking it.
On Thursday, even Mike Minor's three scoreless innings didn't help the mood of the second-year Atlanta manager who's trying to live down last September's collapse that cost the Braves a playoff spot.

Michael Bourn, 2012 Fantasy Baseball Profile: The Need for Speed
Michael Bourn (credits below) Annie: "Well, I should probably tell you that I'm taking the bus because I had my driver's license revoked." Jack: " What for?" Annie: "Speeding." No, that’s not it. "I feel the need, the need for speed." Yeah, that has a solid ring to it. Yet, Michael Bourn gets no love this year: his ADP at Mock...

Season Previews: Atlanta Braves
With Spring Training well underway, it's time for one of our favorite things in all the world: Season Previews. Five years ago, they began as a semi-serious analysis and ended up as half-assed haiku. We're just gonna go with what we know. Kicking off our preview of the National League East, here is a sneak peak at the 2012 Atlanta Braves.
