The additions of J.J. Putz and Francisco Rodriguez, along with the subtractions of Scott Schoeneweis and Aaron Heilman completely reconstructed the shape of the 2009 Mets bullpen. The 1-2 punch of Putz and K-Rod should be a major strength in late innings, but one weakness that has been largely ignored is the lack of lefties in the bullpen.
