New York Mets outfielder Scott Hairston is worried that he may have played his last game of the season.
Hairston is being plagued by an oblique injury which caused him to end an exercise on the elliptical machine after just one minute on Friday.
"I haven't had a pain-free day yet," Hairston told the team's website. "I've got to wait until that happens, but there's only so much time left."
Hairston, 31, is batting .235 with seven homers and 24 RBIs in 145 at-bats this season.
