Matthew Cerrone: There has been a lot of talk lately about the Mets and fundamentals, playing the game right, doing the little things, etc., some of it is fair, some of it is very rhetorical. That said, in your experience, how long does it typically take a team to click, to connect, before they start getting a good feel for playing with one another, which likely helps make them more efficient in the field?
Frank Catalanotto: Well, I think every team is different. I was on some teams where it took a month or two during the season before we were all on the same page. Then, I was on some teams where day 1 of Spring Training guys were on track. However, with this Mets team, there are some new guys who that are in there and I think it’s going to take a little for them. But, from what I heard, Terry Collins does a great job with that and he really taught and went over the fundamentals during Spring Training. So, I think it won’t be long before they’re ...
