PLAYERS: Logan Morrison
TEAMS: Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins offense has been handicapped for the first two months of the season and their record reflected it, as they went 14-41 combined in April and May. They just finished their first winning month in what seems like an eternity for them by going 15-10 in June. The main reason they struggled in the first two months was that they had key players injured on their team during that time. One of those players is the best offensive player on the team in right fielder Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton is your prototypical power guy in the line up. He has the ability to hit the ball a long way, and puts on a show every day during batting practice. He is the one guy on their team with the game on the line that you don’t want to face in the ninth inning. Stanton is only 23 years old, but has already earned a reputation of being one of the most feared hitters in baseball. The other player that is crucial to the success of their franchise is outfielder Logan Morrison. Morrison missed the fir...

Preview: Cards return home for three-game set with Miami
