CINCINNATI Ryan Ludwick was thrilled beyond comprehension his first appearance on FOX Sports Ohio as the Star of the Game for the Cincinnati Reds and first appearance on any Star of the Game Show for a long, long time.
For a guy seemingly locked in mediocrity, as least as far as his batting average was concerned, it was a special moment for the 33-year-old outfielder.

Caleb Lloyd did what I am fairly sure no fan has ever been able to pull off on Monday night at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Many fans bring a glove to a ballpark and can go 81 home games without catching a single foul ball, let alone a home run. Caleb was not only able to catch a home run without a glove, but he caught back-to-back home run balls without a glove.
Do NOT injure my boy. I might not personally be able to take you down, but I have some very muscley man friends and girl friends with very sharp fingernails.
(This made me feel a little better, though...)
