Bradenton: got crushed by Tampa, 14-5.
Strickland gave up 8 runs in 2.1 innings. Wow.
Brock Holt (.335), Tony Sanchez (.327) and Robbie Grossman (.227) all went 2 for 5. Sanchez had a double and 3 RBIs.
Calvin Anderson (.287) went 3 for 4.
West Virginia: got shut out by Hickory, 8-0.
Kyle McPherson gave up 4 runs in 5.1 innings.
Rogelios Noris (.217) went 2 for 4 with a double.
