Now the challenge begins… The NFL season is over, we haven’t quite reached March Madness yet, and pitchers and catchers haven’t reported. What to do, what to do, what to do?

I’m looking forward to this baseball season. It’s always a nice feeling when Spring rolls around and baseball begins. Let us begin preparing ourselves for MLB 2012 while we wait for March Madness, shall we?

To begin.. here are the Top 5 Offseason Storylines…

The Ryan Braun Situation

Ryan Braun stole the headlines for most of the offseason. The question remains; what will happen with Ryan Braun in 2012? Will he serve out a suspension, will he suffer a huge decline in numbers without Prince, will we forget about him? This is the storyline that keeps giving..

The Miami Marlins

I’m going to get sick of calling this team the Miami Marlins by May. They made some nice moves this offseason. New stadium, new team… could be interesting. Everyone knows that the success of this team rests on the right shoulder of Josh Johnson.

Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera

Talk about POP!! The Tigers are going to play some long ball this season. It’s hard not to get excited about the Tigers this year. I’m waiting for Jose Valverde to combust, but it’s hard not to be enamored with the Tigers in the AL Central.

I’m very curious to see how Mr. Darvish does in MLB. The Rangers needed to do something big after the Angels signed Pujols, but I’m not sure this is going to be the answer my friends. I’m still very curious to see this spaz pitch for the Rangers.

Albert In Los Angeles

Speaking of Mr. Pujols… It’s going to be awkward to see Pujols in a Angels jersey. It’s just not going to feel right. I think he could put up some monster numbers in LA. I couldn’t care less about LA or St. Louis, but it still doesn’t feel right. Don’t forget they got CJ Wilson too. Angels looking snappy.
