MLB News: Cesar Izturis Scheduled For Surgery

Baltimore Orioles infielder Cesar Izturis will miss 6 to 8 weeks as he is scheduled to undergo elbow surgery this week. The surgery will move the ulnar nerve in his right elbow and hopefully stop the numbness he has been experiencing. Izturis was replaced on the roster by Brandon Snyder and placed on the 15 day disabled list. So far in 2011 Izturis is batting .192 in limited action.
