Several other tidbits that came out today in reference to management...The two GMs who lost their jobs this week received phone calls to see if they'd be interested in a position within the organization. This isn't the first time that this has happened, Wayne Krivsky was hired as a special consultant after being let go by the Reds but he only finished out the year with the Mets. Towers has a chance to quickly find a new GMs position but this might be a good chance for Ricciardi...Minaya contacted Kevin Towers and J.P.
