Atlanta Braves pitcher Tommy Hanson is being checked for a possible concussion after blowing a tire on his way to the first workout of spring training.

I have to admit. I wasn't impressed with Kris Medlen the first time I saw him pitch.
To be fair, it was his big league debut, so he deserved to be little nervous.

Braves starter Tommy Hanson, who missed a nice chunk of time last season with shoulder problems, was involved in a single car accident this morning on his way to the Braves complex in Orlando.
