Andy Martino, of a newspaper website, goes all "an Internet report" on Yahoo!'s Tim Brown when debunking his story about the "confrontation" that took place between Brett Myers and Cole Hamels following last night's victory. Martino talked to a Phillies representative and Myers himself and both denied any dustup with Myers being quoted as saying, “There was no confrontation whatsoever." As of noon today, Tim Brown has not updated his story.

The fact that Myers says all is fine and that there's no bad blood between teammates heading into a pivotal game six is a good thing for this team in my opinion. Everybody has to be out for the same goal and supporting each other in these challenging, back-to-the-wall times.
