Found November 02, 2011 on Pro Sports Daily:
Washington Nationals prized prospect Bryce Harper is riding an 11-game hitting streak in the Arizona Fall League. Harper, the No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft, had his first season cut short due to a hamstring injury. The 19-year-old Harper hit his fifth home run and had his fifth consecutive multi-RBI game Tuesday night. Harper made a seamless transition to professional ball, batting .318 with 14 homers, 46 RBIs and 19 steals at Class A Hagerstown before he was promoted to the Eastern League. Harper will play in the Rising Stars Game this weekend.

Bryce Harper's Bat Explodes In Arizona Fall League

Less than one month ago, I wrote an article about how Washington Nationals top prospect Bryce Harper was struggling in the Arizona Fall League, like he has done at every new level in his short MiLB career.  Well, that struggle is officially over. Yesterday, Harper went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and hit his 5th HR in the Fall League.  He brought his batting average up to .290 and extended...

Davey doesn't rule out Bryce Harper starting 2012 season in Washington

Above, video of the absolute bomb Bryce Harper hit last night in Arizona Fall League action, his 5th home run and 17th RBI in his last 8 games. Boxberger in 2011 AFL Rising Stars Game

Yesterday, the Arizona Fall League announced its selections for the 2011 AFL Rising Stars Game via twitter and among them was Redlegs right hander Brad Boxberger. The game will be played on Saturday, November 5th at 5pm mountain time, which by my calculations is 7pm eastern. If...

As a result, the ability to acquire top-notch talent via the amateur draft and international free agency was all but snuffed out. Some smart, aggressive drafting by the current front office...

The Mesa Solar Sox won 3-1 today against Phoenix, with the Pittsburgh Pirates pitching prospects combining for six strong innings.  They were led by Gerrit Cole, who made his third start of the season.  Cole pitched three innings, allowing one run on three hits, with a walk and three strikeouts.  The one run came on a home run to lead off the second inning.  Cole was again hitting...

Nate's Nats Notes - 11/2/11

If you're reading this (which I suppose you pretty obviously are) you may have noticed that Nats Triple Play went through some fairly significant content generation droughts in 2011. Some of that is the inevitable impact of running out of new things to say about this team after 6+ years, but more often it went something like:1. Read/hear/see something interesting about the Nationals...
