New Season

Tonight is the start of a new season. The Phillies, Marlins, Mets, and Braves are all separated by only 2 games. It's Philly versus NY this weekend, while Atlanta heads to Washington, and Florida is at home against Pittsburgh. Come Monday morning things in the NL East could look a whole lot different in the standings.Game Primer:*Somehow Rodrigo Lopez, who hasn't started a game since 2007, is the Phils best option to fill the starting pitcher void. I'm rooting for him, but I'm not counting on him.*The Phillies have lost 14 of their last 18 games. During that span they've hit .233, scored 76 runs (4.22 per game), while the rotation posted a 5.23 ERA, and the bullpen a 6.56 ERA along with four blown saves.*Jimmy Rollins finally got a hit last night, two to be exact, snapping an 0-28 skid.*Since June 7th, Carlos Ruiz is 7 for his last 60 (.117 average).
