The stigma for the New York brass is that if they do this they are throwing up the white flag on the season, this isn’t true. Many teams in both leagues infuse their lineups with some of their best young talent to see what they have and sometimes these players end up staying on the roster.
General manager Brian Cashman can’t always find the answers off the scrap heap and have to start to have confidence in the prospects. Yes, there will be growing pains, but the reward can be a...

When plan A fails there is always plan B….right?
How does this relate to the current state of the New York Yankees?
Well, I think it is about time for Yankees to look beyond their All-Star disabled list (DL).
The hope that Jeter, A-Rod, Granderson, Youkilis, and Teixeira will ever be healthy enough to play at the level expected...

The Yankees have announced that Kevin Youkilis will have back surgery Thursday. He will be out a minimum of 10-12 weeks. Effectively, this ends his brief career with The Evil Ones.
For eight innings on Sunday, all was going right for the Yankees. CC was dominating, the offense was finally producing more runs than a taco bell, and overall, everything just seemed to be going their way.
But with just three outs left, all hell broke loose. A double by Mike Trout and a walk to Albert Pujols cut Sabathia’s 9th inning short, keeping him from going to distance....

New York Yankees fans are used to a certain brand of baseball that includes a lot of home runs and scoring and they haven’t been getting that with this season’s version of the Bronx Bombers.
