Today marks day four of the Top 12 Games of the Reds Season series. The campaign may have ended abruptly, and in somber fashion, but there is still plenty to smile about when thinking about the past six months or so. We will be counting down the greatest contests from the year each day until we reach the number one spot.

Word has broken that the Reds have extended manager Dusty Baker for two more years. I first saw it from Mark Sheldon on his blog, but it's been reported by several outlets. The Peoria Javelinas crushed the Mesa Solar Sox yesterday by a score of 9-2. They pounded out 14 hits in total, while every starter got a hit except one.
-1B Donald Lutz was one of those starters. He finished 2-5, with a run scored, and is now hitting .438 on the young AFL season. He was the only Reds prospect to make an appearance.
