Nyjer Morgan aired some personal business over his Twitter account on Monday. The free agent outfielder admitted to cheating on his girlfriend in what seemed to be some sort of soul-cleansing apology. Here’s what Morgan tweeted: I did something horrible today nation I cheated on my girlfriend I ruined her life and I will pay the price for this I loved her but was bad — Nyjer Morgan – T Dot (@TheRealTPlush) January 15, 2013 She caught me as much as I loved her I’m just a cheater I’m sorry — Nyjer Morgan – T Dot (@TheRealTPlush) January 15, 2013 The truth will come out — Nyjer Morgan – T Dot (@TheRealTPlush) January 15, 2013 When asked by a Twitter user why Morgan would tweet all this, he said, “cuz I’m a bad person Mann I have issues.” He also said over Twitter, “I have failed this is the saddest day of my life.” Morgan’s Twitter bio was also changed to say, “This is dedicated to my x girlfriend that i cheated on and left in the streets this page was changed by me,” which could indicate that his ex-girlfriend hacked him. His Twitter header and avatar were also changed to pictures of him with a woman. Knowing Morgan and how unstable he is, this could have been some sort of ploy for attention. Or maybe he could just go the Denard Robinson route and claim he was hacked.
