Yup, Oakland Athletics pitcher Craig Breslow was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday. Breslow appeared in 67 games last year and recorded a 3.79 ERA with a record of 0-2. The team was apparently so into the trade that they forgot to tell him and he found out via a tweet. What a way to go huh? Yahoo - The NL West champion D-backs added a front-line starter Friday and boosted their bullpen, acquiring pitchers Trevor Cahill, Craig Breslow and cash from the Oakland Athletics.The A’s received starting pitcher Jarrod Parker, outfielder Collin Cowgill and reliever Ryan Cook in the trade Friday, all players the A’s envision could be on the major league roster in 2012.
