Alexi Ogando was perfect on the mound but oh so imperfect on the bases Sunday. So Monday, he had an MRI on his strained right groin, and Texas Rangers fans await the results and a decision about the disabled list. A pitcher who's not used to running bases got hurt running bases, and he was pulled after three perfect innings in Texas' 5-0 win over the Giants in San Francisco. Ogando wasn't just perfect with his pitching, retiring all nine batters he faced, but he also was 1-for-2 at the plate, beating out a bunt single on the play that left him injured. If Ogando is shelved, it'll prove his spot in the rotation is an unlucky one. He was replacing Derek Holland, who went on the disabled list with a shoulder issue following an illness. The decision on whether Ogando is DL-bound was expected once he's seen by team doctor Keith Meister, who was said to be out of town Monday.
