I love this photo. Don't get me wrong. I know it's frowned upon. But I was hoping to see some Joba Antics yesterday anyway. Alas, Joba Chamberlain didn't pitch well enough to warrant them. In his first appearance since June 2011, Joba pitched 1.2 innings, gave up 2 runs on 4 hits, and walked 1 batter. He threw 28 pitches, 16 of which were strikes. His velocity hovered around 92-23 mph.A couple of red flags went up during his outing, the reddest of which was his velocity. During his recent rehab starts, all we kept hearing  was that Joba was throwing 97-100 mph. So, he gets activated and fails to hit 94 in his first appearance. What happened? Was his velocity exaggerated? Were the minor league radar guns not working properly? Was Joba holding himself back? Is he still hurt? We'll have to see a couple of more outing from him to get answers to these questions. Let me repeat that: We'll have to see a couple of more outings from him to get answers to these questions.Wh...

The play occurred with no outs in the top of the sixth inning at Yankee stadium. Reynolds, a well streaky power hitter with a boom or bust approach at the plate, hit a fastball...
