One day after being activated from the disabled list, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Luke Scott has now seen his season come to an end.
The Orioles returned Scott to the disabled list with a torn labrum in his right shoulder. He had three at-bats during Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Scott had fared well in his rehab assignment with Double-A Bowie, capping the stint with a pair of homers and six RBIs on Thursday.
After belting a team-leading 27 homers last season, Scott is batting .220 with nine homers and 22 RBIs this season.
In a corresponding move, the Orioles recalled third baseman Josh Bell from Triple-A Norfolk.
