Orioles RHP Duchscherer still plagued by hip injury

Baltimore Orioles righthander Justin Duchscherer is still being plagued by his surgically repaired hip. Duchscherer was shut down in the first inning of an extended spring training game on Thursday. He was expected to throw 60-70 pitches, but the session came to an abrupt end after Duchscherer felt pain while fielding a bunt from the first batter. The 33-year-old South Dakota native made only five starts with the Oakland Athletics in 2010 before undergoing season-ending surgery. Duchscherer missed the entire 2009 season with shoulder and back injuries.
