Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Orioles have re-signed Cesar Izturis to a one-year deal worth $1.5 million. The deal includes $1.7 million in incentives based on plate appearances and games started, Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports adds.
Izturis was brought back by the Orioles for his slick fielding as well as his clubhouse presence. The staff has been happy with the way he has mentored some of the younger players in the organization....
