Scott Feldman is a 30-year-old, 6′7″, Hawaiian-born Jewish righthander with a three-quarters deliver. He was good for the Cubs in the first half, posting a 3.46 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 15 starts. He was also bad with Texas before that (4.81, 1.42). Oh, and he punched a guy in the armpit once. All he cost the O’s is Jake Arrieta and Pedro Strop, owners of ERAs above 7. They have good stuff, though, so maybe they turn it around in Chicago. I kinda hope they do. The O’s also got Steve Clevenger, a 25-year-old backup catcher who went to high school in Baltimore and hit the ball well in the minors. So there’s that. Anyway, back to Feldman. From his Wikipedia page: Towards the end of the spring training in 2006, Feldman was feeling confident that he was going to make the parent club’s 25-man roster.
