Rockies OF Fowler avoids arbitration, agrees to deal
Colorado Rockies outfielder Dexter Fowler avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $2.35 million on Tuesday.
Fowler, who made $424,000 last season, batted .266 with five homers and 45 RBIs in 2011.
