This morning, I had a meeting at work and missed all the devastating news of the loss suffered by the Anaheim Angels until much later. Nick Adenhart, a young 22-year-old pitcher who participated in last night's game, was involved in a late night accident near Downtown Fullerton. There, on the corner of Lemon and Orangethrope, an intersection I've crossed many times, his life was lost.Of the four people riding in the Mitsubishi Eclipse, three people have lost their lives and one remains in critical condition at UCI Medical Center. The driver, a twenty year old CSUF student and Alpha Chi Omega sister, was among the three who lost their lives, and the third was another unidentified passenger who was declared deceased at the scene.The surviving passenger is a former CSUF baseball player.As an alumna of CSUF who maintains Titan pride and as a girl who once tried to get into baseball and chose the Angels as my team of choice, I'd like to extend my condolensces to the friends a...
