Fox Sports:
(Eds: APNewsNow. ) Josh Outman hopes his pitching career finally blossoms with the Colorado Rockies.
The left-hander is fully recovered from ligament replacement surgery that cost him nearly two years.
Outman was traded to the Rockies, his third organization in four years, from the Oakland Athletics and he's convinced this will be the year he will be able to pitch the way he did before the injury.
There's certainly an opportunity with the Rockies, a team with a bevy of young arms but not much experience outside of Jeremy Guthrie and, should he make the team, Jamie Moyer.
