Pedro Gomez Takes Leak; Misses Historic Home Run

Posted August 08, 2007 on hiphop's Blog:
In an ironic twist of fate ESPN's Pedro Gomez, who has been shadowing Barry Bonds for the last two seasons, was not a witness to the historic event. Said Gomez, "I had a beer and a brat before the game just like I always do. Nature called and I left to hit the head. Because of the sellout crowd the lines were unusually long. Right about the time I was washing my hands you could hear a thunderous cheer. I knew at that point that something big must have happened." Asked if he was disappointed to miss the record-breaking shot Gomez remarked. "Yeah, it's a bummer, but I'm just glad to get my life back." With the homerun record now eclipsed, life goes on for the bilingual reporter. According to Gomez he will no longer be trailing Bonds and has been reassigned to the Chicago Cubs World Championship watch.

  • Haha. I wish that true. At least he didn't go Gary Miller and piss off the upper deck onto onlooking fans.
  • Not to be confused with "making it rain."
  • Shouldn't have washed your hands!!! ha
  • Excellent point and an important lesson for us all. Better yet, he could have gone with Depends.
  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sure he did. More like Aaron and Selig, he had no intention of watching that scumbag cheater break the most storied record in all of baseball.

I intentionally missed the game, as well as the previous game where the cheater hit 755. Now I have to try and explain to my nephews and nieces as to why a cheater is getting over, when I've taught them that cheaters never win. I'm also telling them that it's my hope and dream that Bonds goes to jail for lying to a Federal Grand Jury and that they expunge his record from the books, therefore reinstating the great record back to where it rightfully belongs -- in Henry Aarons name.

    Cheers!!!
