Phil Hughes off to Great Start in AFL

Phil Hughes allowed no runs on one hit and five walks, while striking out seven, in five innings of baseball in the Arizona Fall League. This is a great start with the exception of the high number of walks, which could easily have been because his last start was so long ago. Yankee top prospect Austin Jackson went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs. One of his two hits was an RBI triple. That's about all of the major stats, I'll keep you updated throughout the AFL season.
