That, if you don't recognize his perfectly sculpted quads or soft-but-masculine cheek bones, is model/baseball player Cole Hamels.
Hamels, who pitches for the Philadelphia Phillies, was modeling at a charity fashion show held by former teammate Shane Victorino. Hamels is known to dabble in modeling, but video of him in action has been difficult to come by. The video above, for example, is from 2011.
But let's not let that stop us from enjoying it.
Ted Berg, who covers the Mets, has an extensive collection of Hamels modeling photos on his blog, which is worth a look.

In a season where Murphy’s Law has been in place for the first five months at least the Phillies can enter the final month of 2013 not having to worry about a thing concerning Cole Hamels.
Despite his league leading loss total the 29-year-old lefthander has slowly but surely looked like himself this summer. Hamels resurgence continued on Wednesday night at Citi Field.

With the Phillies’ decision to try Double-A third base prospect Maikel Franco at first base recently a bit of a dilemma with how to use slugger Jim Murphy arose. The 27-year-old Eastern League All-Star has held down first base at several levels of the minors since he was drafted by the Phillies out of Washington State University in 2008.
Ethan Martin was much better than his last time out. Then again, that's not saying much.
Coming off a very brief outing last weekend, Martin flashed his lively fastball Thursday and struck out a career-high nine, but only made it through four innings for the Philadelphia Phillies in an 11-3 loss to the New York Mets.
''I've felt pretty decent almost every start...
The Phillies were absolutely crushed by the Mets Thursday afternoon. Ethan Martin lasted four innings while giving up three runs, but the bullpen lost control of the game in the later innings. The offense was only able to scrape one run across in the first seven innings (on a sac fly by Darin Ruf), and the Phillies lost 11-3.
Ethan Martin is struggling...

The Phillies are 8-5 since Ryne Sandberg became "interim" manager. They've also won two series in a row and can make it three with a win this afternoon against the Mets. Ethan Martin gets the opportunity to make up for the 2/3 inning debacle he had last start in the marathon 18 inning game. Matt Harvey was scheduled to start for the Mets, but he might be heading...

Now, the Phillies have absolutely nothing left to play for this year. Winning and losing games does not matter, and...
During tonight's game, John McDonald took third base in place of third baseman Cody Asche after he singled in the 7th inning. Todd Zolecki has manager Ryne Sandberg's explanation: “On the ball heading to the gap, he put a little extra into the run and felt a little something,” Ryne...

Here’s how the Mets week has been going. Their star young pitcher Matt Harvey went down with a pretty serious injury. That put in motion some trade talks and they traded...
I have no idea how I missed this, but SPIN Magazine wrote up a short piece about Friday night’s ‘TOTAL 1990s Retro Night’ at the Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park and shared a photoshop of The Phillie Phanatic subbing in for a naked little boy on the cover of Nirvana’s 1991 record Nevermind. Let that sink in for a second.
Sure, MLB is no stranger to photoshopping...
The Phillies welcome back a familiar face today as they take on the New York Mets at Citi Field to close out this four game series before they head to Chicago. Domonic Brown has returned to the lineup after dealing with an achillies injury the few days. His last start...
