How many times can you talk or read about it? If the Philadelphia Phillies reported to Spring Training today, they would have no third baseman, a hole in the bullpen, and not one player that has shown that they can play any of the three outfield positions for a full season and give the team the offensive production they need. To date, Ruben Amaro Jr has done nothing to address these issues. Centerfield has been the worst of the Phillies misses so far. The Atlanta Braves bested the Phillies in the B.J. Upton sweepstakes. The Washington Nationals made a trade for a solid lead off guy and plus defensive player in Denard Span. The San Francisco Giants signed Angel Pagan to a four year deal. Michael Bourne is still out there, but he is not a good fit for the Phillies needs. Josh Hamilton is also still available, but like Bourne he is left handed and will be cost prohibitive. If the Phillies sign either player, it could blow their budget and stop them from filling their pressing needs at ...

Phillies, Diamondbacks talking about a Justin Upton-Cliff Lee swap?

Ryan Howard is Messy

I'd love to start this with some cutesy little opener about the Winter Meetings, but I just don't have it in me.This past weekend, Philadelphia Phillies star Ryan Howard tied the knot with his former Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader lady friend in Hawaii and to cap off the celebration, took part in what only can be described as a bizarre "ritual".You see, after posing...
